Modern Slavery Policy

Introduction
a) MM Electrical and Design Ltd recognises the responsibility of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. The overall responsibility
lies with the Proprietor, Mickele Maytil.
b) MM Electrical and Design Ltd recognises that modern slavery encompasses human trafficking and slavery, servitude
and forced or compulsory labour.
c) MM Electrical and Design Ltd will work proactively with a view to prevent modern slavery in all its forms.
Modern Slavery
a) Meet and, where appropriate, exceed the requirements of current and future relevant legislation
b) Ensure that all employees are given suitable instruction on recognising modern slavery and training for appropriate
action to take if an instance is acknowledged
c) It is essential that it is recognised that survivors of modern slavery may be at risk of re-trafficking and further harm.
Proprietor’s Duties
a) The Proprietor takes responsibility for modern slavery throughout the company to protect the safety of oneself and
other’s affected by the Business’ operations, one will:
i. Be aware of the Modern Slavery Act 2015
ii. Ensure that employees receive sufficient information and training
iii. Ensure the Business’ Modern Slavery Policy is monitored and act if there are any issues
iv. Ensure that there is sufficient paperwork to comply with relevant statutory obligations

This policy will be reviewed regularly and updated if there is any change in circumstance or Law.
